Gary Lineker reacted on Match of the Day Live on BBC One to Dele Alli tumbling over during Tottenham’s FA Cup win against Marine on Sunday and the brilliant reaction from his bench.
The MOTD host hilariously shared that Gareth Bale was calling for a ‘yellow card for diving’ whilst Alli fell over when trying to receive the ball from Ben Davies.
Tottenham managed to keep possession even though Alli fell over, but he didn’t get any sympathy from his teammates.
Lineker reacted to Alli falling and how Heung-Min Son was ‘laughing’ at his teammates, alongside the likes of Sergio Reguilon.
“You mentioned that Dele Alli was particularly good in the first half, running the show in many ways,” said Lineker.
“This [his first-half fall] went a little bit wrong for him. But it did amuse the bench, Son was laughing. Oops!
Pictures then pan towards Gareth Bale laughing and signalling for a yellow card to which Lineker responded: “Yellow card for diving.”

Whilst it’s against a non-league side, it was a much-needed performance from Alli, who is seemingly getting back to his best.
There is still a long way to go for Alli to become a regular starter again, but he is on the right path.
With the January transfer window open there is understandably going to be speculation about his future, especially with a certain ex-Spurs boss walking the touchline at PSG.
