Newcastle United saw red twice against Nottingham Forest last week.
Speaking to the Chronicle, Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin has urged his team to move on from the refereeing controversy against Nottingham Forest.
Last week’s game at the City ground saw the Magpies leaving highly frustrated, with both Paul Dummett and Jonjo Shelvey wrongly sent off and them losing the game.
Both decisions have since been overturned, with the referee in the game coming in for stern criticism from fans and pundits alike after the game.

That is little consolation for Rafa Benitez and his men, who will still feel aggrieved to have been at the wrong end of such a bad performance from the officials.
Yedlin, though, has urged his side to let it go and focus on what they have to do moving forward.
“It’s frustrating but the referee is human and makes mistakes,” he told the Chronicle.
“Whether people think they are red cards are not, it’s in the past and we have to focus on what we have to do. Both players are key to the team and we are happy to have them back.”

It will be interesting to see how Newcastle United respond from last week’s disappointment.
They will certainly need to, with the top of the Championship table to say the least.
They are currently top but just a point ahead of Brighton and Hove Albion and will need to turn around their poor recent form to ensure they stay there.
