Celtic clinched a quadruple treble but fans were far from impressed

Celtic fans have called for Neil Lennon’s exit despite today’s historic win.
Conor Hazard’s two saves in the penalty shootout secured victory and a quadruple treble for Lennon’s men, but fans were livid with a performance that saw Championship side Hearts twice come from behind.
The champions looked to be comfortable at half-time with a two-goal lead courtesy of Ryan Christie’s superb curling opener and Odsonne Edouard’s ‘Panenka’ penalty.
Hearts took the game to extra time thanks to two second-half goals, before Leigh Griffiths restored Celtic’s advantage after 105 minutes. Hazard was unconvincing for Hearts’ third six minutes later, but the 22-year-old redeemed himself with his two vital penalty stops.
It meant Celtic were off the hook, but the supporters who’ve spent recent weeks demanding the end of Lennon’s reign saw little to change their minds.
