Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has told Sky Sports that it’s difficult to prevent Romelu Lukaku’s plan – but feels the Toffees will find a way to deal with the situation.

Lukaku, 23, has lived up to his billing as one of the top young strikers in Europe since penning a permanent deal with Everton in 2014,leaving Chelsea following a productive loan spell at Goodison Park.

The Belgian attacker has become Everton’s all-time top Premier League scorer with 64 goals in 132 games, and he currently sits as the Premier League’s top goalscorer so far this season with 21 goals.

Lukaku’s exploits in front of goal have unsurprisingly attracted interest, and Everton attempted to tie him down to a new contract earlier this month – but he rejected their £140,000-a-week offer.

Many now believe Lukaku to move on at the end of the season, but his commitment to Everton hasn’t waned in the meantime, having scored twice against Hull City in his last outing.

Now, team-mate Yannick Bolasie – who speaks to Lukaku on the pitch in a little-known African language called Lingala – has offered his thoughts on the striker’s future.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Bolasie has admitted that he speaks to Lukaku every day, and believes it’s difficult to change his mind given how strongly he thinks of his plan for stardom away from Goodison Park.

Bolasie, who is out for the season with a major knee injury, added that Lukaku is a world class striker, and believes Everton will find a way to deal with Lukaku’s attempts to leave the club this summer.

“I speak to Rom [Lukaku] every day and when a man has his plan, he has his plan. You can’t really stop that,” said Bolasie. “Players have ambition, as players they want to play in the highest team possible and Rom for me right now, at his age, is a world class striker and there aren’t many about like him. I’m not surprised but I’m sure that Everton are going to find a way to deal with it,” he added.
