Is the Premier League winger about to join Everton?

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie is en route to Everton to undergo a medical with Ronald Koeman’s side, HITC Sport understands.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to the Toffees in recent days and Palace boss Alan Pardew confirmed via BBC Sport that a deal was “close” on Saturday.

The Eagles boss did stress that it was not finalised, but HITC Sport can reveal that the move edged that bit closer to completion this morning as Bolasie heads for Merseyside to complete his medical.
It remains to be seen how much Everton will pay for the Democratic Republic of Congo ace, though it was reported by The Mirror this week that Palace – who had already rejected an £18 million bid by Koeman, according to ESPN – slapped a £28 million pricetag on the star.

Whatever the fee, it is a fine move for Everton if and when the transfer materialises.
Bolasie has blown hot and cold in recent seasons, but he will be surrounded by a lot more quality than he was at Selhurst Park and playing with better players will surely bring his game on considerably.
He could become the fourth player who Everton have spent money on this summer, after Ashley Williams, Idrissa Gueye and Maarten Stekelenburg joined up with Koeman already.
Two of those, Gueye and Stekelenburg, impressed at Goodison Park on Saturday as Koeman’s troops kicked off their Premier League season by holding Tottenham to a 1-1 draw.
