Aston Villa beat Rotherham United 2-0 on Tuesday night.

Aston Villa picked up a much-needed win on Tuesday night – and recent signing Yannick Bolasie played a huge role in their victory over Rotherham United.
Villa entered the game having gone five without a win, in which they had picked up just four points and looked to be struggling under Steve Bruce.
Fans have been heaping pressure on Bruce in recent weeks, so he will be delighted that it was two of his recent signings who impressed in the win over Rotherham.
New signing Tammy Abraham grabbed his first Villa goal, latching onto Jonathan Kodjia’s pass to open the scoring for the hosts at Villa Park.
Rotherham had their chances to get back into the game but ultimately lost 2-0, as Bolasie met a deep cross to head into the net for his first Villa goal too.
Bruce got his much-needed victory, and he will be delighted to see Abraham and Bolasie – two major coup loan signings – get off the mark in the process.

Bolasie later took to Twitter to celebrate, admitting that it was a great team performance whilst praising the fans, adding that he was happy to play his part with the second goal.
Teammate Jack Grealish congratulated both Bolasie and Abraham on opening their accounts, whilst goalkeeper Orjan Nyland was also in celebratory mood after the final whistle.
