Everton’s Yannick Bolasie has delivered his verdict on his side’s 3-2 win against Fulham on Sunday.

The former Crystal Palace man is not in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and he has been left out of the squad as a result. However, that hasn’t stopped him from supporting his teammates on social media.

Everton took less than 45 seconds to open the scoring thanks to a goal from Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Englishman doubled his tally before Abdoulaye Doucoure put the visitors 3-1 up at half time.

Both scorers had a good game, but a few others were simply brilliant. Lucas Digne had an outstanding game from left-back, while Richarlison, who missed the last three matches due to suspension, was a threat.

Summer signings Allan and James Rodriguez were excellent as well. The Colombian was involved in the build up in Everton’s second and third goals, and he is proving to be an exceptional signing for the Toffees.

However, the most impressive player on the pitch was arguably Alex Iwobi. The former Arsenal man started the game at right wing-back in Seamus Coleman’s absence, and put in his best performance in an Everton shirt.

Iwobi had 77 touches of the ball and completed 42 of 48 of his passes on Sunday. The Nigerian also completed five of his six attempted long passes, six of his seven dribbles and won nine of his 13 duels (SofaScore).

He has always been more comfortable on the left wing, but his performance on the right side will give him lots of confidence. Everton fans heaped praise on the former Arsenal man, and Bolasie was also impressed.

He reacted to Everton’s win on Twitter, where he claimed that Iwobi was different class against the Cottagers.
