Yannick Bolasie says that Everton need to sign a striker in the January transfer window.

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has been quoted as saying by BBC Sport that the club need to sign a striker in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old DR Congo international winger made the comments following the Toffees’ 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Goodison Park on Monday evening.

The 28-year-old former Bristol City winger has been on the books of Everton since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Crystal Palace for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million.

“It’s been known we probably need a striker,” BBC Sport quotes Bolasie as saying (20:01). “It’s a difficult job for any club to replace Romelu Lukaku. It’s obvious [we need a striker] but I’m not the manager.”
