Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has returned to first team training after a long injury lay off.

The England winger suffered a knee injury in Crystal Palace’s opening day 3-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town.

The Guardian reported back in August that Zaha could be out for four weeks.

The Ivory Coast forward, who signed a lucrative five-contract in May, has tweeted on Thursday that he has finally returned to first team training.

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has reacted to the post on social networking Twitter. He tweeted “My guy is back.”

Bolasie, who joined Everton from Crystal Palace in 2016 for a fee of £25 million, is himself working a way back to fitness after a cruciate ligament injury sustained in December last year.

He has started light training as he edges closer to a return to first-team involvement. However, he has admitted that there is still some way to go for his rehabilitation.
