Southampton won against Leicester City in the Premier League on Friday.
Everton-owned winger Yannick Bolasie has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Southampton’s heavy defeat to Leicester City.
Bolasie, who joined Sporting Lisbon on loan from Everton in the summer transfer window, believes that it was a big win for Leicester, but the former Crystal Palace winger also feels for the Southampton players.
Southampton suffered an embarrassing 9-0 loss at the hands of Leicester at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Ayoze Perez scored a hat-trick for the Foxes, and so did Jamie Vardy, while Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison also etched their names on the scoresheet.
The Saints played most of the match with 10 men due to the sending-off of Ryan Bertrand in the 12th minute.
The result on Friday evening means that Southampton are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with eight points from 10 matches.
As for Leicester, Brendan Rodgers’s side are currently third in the league table with 20 points from 10 matches.
