Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has hailed the club’s fans for creating such a great atmosphere during their 1-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
The Toffees were in high spirits having beaten West Bromwich Albion 2-1 last weekend, and made it two wins in two to keep up their unbeaten start to the new season.

Everton’s winning goal against Stoke was somewhat fortuitous, as Leighton Baines’ penalty hit the post, but ricocheted into the net off Potters goalkeeper Shay Given.
With seven points from a possible nine, it’s a great start for new manager Koeman, and he was able to hand a first home Premier League start to new signing Yannick Bolasie.

The 27-year-old winger, signed from Crystal Palace in a big-money deal earlier this month, made his Toffees bow as a substitute against West Bromwich Albion last weekend, and was handed his first league start against Stoke.
A DR Congo international, Bolasie arrives with a huge reputation having starred in the Premier League for Palace, and the Everton fans got to see him in action for 88 minutes before he was taken off for Tom Davies.

After the game, Bolasie took to Twitter in order to react to the win, and paid particular attention to the Everton fans, claiming they were ‘electric’ as they drove the Toffees on to an important victory.
Bolasie may have featured against Yeovil in the EFL Cup in midweek, but this was his first taste of the Goodison Park atmosphere as an Everton player – and he was clearly impressed judging by his tweet below…
