Yannick Bolasie has improved in six key areas at Everton

The winger joined Everton in the summer transfer window.

Eleven games into the Premier League season and Everton have been steady at best.

After a strong start to the campaign they have tailed away somewhat in recent months with a series of disappointing performances showing work will have to be done.

One thing they will be pleased with is the signing of Yannick Bolasie, who arrived in a big money move from Crystal Palace.

The winger has quickly formed a strong relationship with striker Romelu Lukaku and although some improvement is needed, he is looking likely to play a big role for the Blues moving forward.

So how do his stats compare to the same time last year? We have taken a look.

So far he is posting more accurate passes per game, 16 compared to 14, more successful final third passes, 8.2 compared to 7.2 and more key passes per game, 1.6 compared to 0.5.

All of that has seen his number of assists increase, with this season seeing him register four so far, having not managed any at the same stage last season.

Interestingly he is posting more shots on target per game although his goal tally has remained the same.

He has proven to be better dribbling wise, posting more won contests per game, while his number of accurate crosses per game has risen from 0.5 to 1.5.

Improvement in six areas for Bolasie then, and Everton will be hoping there is more to come from him as they look to bounce back under Ronald Koeman this season.
