Yannick Bolasie was happy with his night’s work for Everton as the Toffees beat Yeovil Town in the EFL Cup.

Bolasie started as Everton beat Yeovil 4-0, with substitute Arouna Kone netting a brace.

The winger clinched a £30 million move from Crystal Palace last week and made his debut against West Brom at the weekend, but this was his first full game for the club.

Commenting on Twitter after the match, Bolasie expressed his pleasure at the win.

He did not have the impact he may have liked during the match from an individual perspective but the game was all about getting up to speed, and his teammates were more than capable of taking centre stage.

As well as Kone’s double, Ross Barkley and Aaron Lennon found the scoresheet, and Everton now have two successive wins to build off, and remain unbeaten under new boss Ronald Koeman.

Everton are in the hat for the next round and find out their opponents when the draw is made on Wednesday night.
