With the end of the season upon us, many are naming their team of the year selections.
Of course, Manchester City are dominating the picks having won the Premier League title, though Manchester United also have a host of names in the mix.
There hasn’t been all that much love for the likes of Everton, Leicester City and West Ham United though, despite all of them being in the top 10.
Tomas Soucek has been outstanding for West Ham, forming a great partnership with Declan Rice in David Moyes’ midfield.
With nine goals from midfield, Soucek has been a real threat for West Ham, and deserves recognition as one of the top players this season.
Yannick Bolasie has taken to Twitter to suggest that it’s ‘madness’ that Soucek isn’t being named in more team of the year pieces having been ‘unplayable’ this season.

Bolasie even feels that Everton’s Lucas Digne and Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne should be in the mix too at left back and right back respectively.
Luke Shaw and Kyle Walker are the main picks there, but Bolasie thinks that Digne and Castagne need to be in the conversation too.
