Crystal Palace were seconds away from a win over Brighton and Hove Albion – and Yannick Bolasie wasn’t impressed with the celebrations.

Wilfried Zaha’s penalty gave Palace the lead, and they were hanging onto that 1-0 lead deep into added time.

Brighton found one last chance though, and Neal Maupay was able to lob Vicente Guaita to rescue a point.

Maupay’s last-gasp goal sparked wild celebrations from Brighton fans, which Bolasie didn’t much like.

Even the Brighton bench were celebrating wildly, and who can really blame them?

Palace and Brighton have a fierce if sometimes baffling rivalry, and a last-gasp equaliser is always cause for celebration.

Add in the rivalry, and celebrations were always going to be somewhat exuberant.

Former Palace ace Bolasie took to Twitter to react, telling those from Brighton to ‘leave it out’.

Bolasie joked that the celebrations looked like Brighton had ‘unlocked some new level’, telling them to go to bed.

Brighton fans unsurprisingly took to the replies to try and wind up Bolasie whilst celebrating Maupay’s dramatic leveller.

In truth, Palace brought this on themselves. Jordan Ayew squandered an unbelievable chance to make it 2-0, and they were made to pay.

Brighton managed to save themselves in the end, and their fans won’t be deterred from celebrating by Bolasie’s tweets.
