The Algerian winger would be an excellent addition for Southampton.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhüttl will be desperate to bolster his ranks at St Mary’s this month, with his club currently deeply embroiled in a relegation battle.
One particular area where the Austrian will want to improve is his attacking ranks, with his side’s meagre tally of just 21 Premier League goals this season proving to be detrimental to their chances of winning games on a consistent basis.
The problem for the Saints is that they don’t have bundles of cash to spend, so Hasenhüttl will have to be thrifty in his player recruitment.
With this in mind, Southampton should consider a swoop for Porto’s Yacine Brahimi this month.
The Algeria international could be available for a bargain fee this month, with his contract set to expire in the summer, and he would be a great addition for the south coast club.
The 28-year-old is a left winger by trade, but he can actually play anywhere along the front-line.
Brahimi possesses pace in abundance, and plays with a certain type of directness that would undoubtedly help Southampton improve upon the potency of their play in the final third.

The Algerian’s final ball is excellent, and with the likes of Danny Ings and Charlie Austin in the middle, he might very well flourish at St Mary’s.
If he is made available this month, Southampton must act – he could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Hasenhüttl’s side.
