Lallana has been enjoying something of a renaissance under manager Jurgen Klopp so far this season.

Rickie Lambert has expressed delight at the recent form of his former Liverpool teammate Adam Lallana, according to a report in the Liverpool Echo.
Lallana has struck twice for the Reds so far this season, and scored his first international goal in England’s recent Wold Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
Lambert, who played alongside Lallana for five years at Southampton before the duo made the switch to Merseyside in 2014, is happy to see his ex-teammate undergo a significant change in form, after a slow start to his Liverpool career.

“Ad’s is on the fire at the minute,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
“I can’t say enough about Adam, I’ve been through a lot with him and see to him flying and doing so well is brilliant…I always knew he would reach this level.”
Lambert, now at Championship side Cardiff City, also credited Lallana’s surge in form to manager Jurgen Klopp’s tactics, which have truly benefitted the 28-year-old.
“He’s playing in a deeper role now but what suits Adam is the way the players at Liverpool are interchanging with each other,” Lambert continued.

“He’s always the first one to break the line and press the ball and people follow that.”
Lallana is certainly playing with more freedom in the midfield, a change that has gotten the best out of him over the past few games.
The England international will hope for more of the same when Liverpool make the trip to Stamford Bridge for the clash against Chelsea on Friday night.
