Everton’s Ashley Williams
Wales manager believes his captain Ashley Williams will prove to be a great capture for Everton, and that fans will love one of the club’s newest acquisitions, according to a report in the Liverpool Echo.
Williams made the switch to Goodison Park from Swansea earlier in the summer, bringing an end to an eight-year association with the South Wales side.
The Welsh international made his Premier League debut for the Toffees against West Brom on Saturday, and followed it up with a fine display in Tuesday’s 4-0 rout of Yeovil Town in the EFL Cup.

Coleman, who is no stranger to Williams having coached him for the Welsh national team, was ecstatic to learn of Williams’ move, and promised Everton fans to expect some great displays from the 32-year-old.
“It’s a fantastic signing for Everton. They love a player that plays with his heart on his sleeve and they’ll get that with Ash on top of his qualities,” he said.
“It’s disappointing for Swansea because they’ve lost one of the best players they’ve ever had.”
Coleman was also quick to dismiss speculation that Williams’ commitment to the national team would now be hindered due to his move to England.

“I know the man and it wouldn’t matter if he was playing on the moon for someone – he’d be back here playing for Wales,” he continued.
“If Ash suggested that he’s just played in a tournament and he’s the other side of 30, I may have had it in the back of my head that he’s looking to conserve some energy, but I’ve never had that with Ash.”
Everton fans are likely to see more of Williams when Everton host Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.
