The Aston Villa owner insists that he has a good relationship with club manager Roberto Di Matteo.

Aston Villa owner Dr. Tony Xia has made it clear on social networking site Twitter that he has no problem whatsoever with club manager Roberto Di Matteo.
Xia has replied strongly on Twitter when asked if there is any friction between him and Di Matteo.
According to The Birmingham Mail, Xia pulled the plug on Joe Bennett’s proposed move to Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window.
It has been claimed that Villa manager Di Matteo was happy to let the defender move to the Owls, but the Chinese businessman reportedly stopped the switch because he did not want to lose him to a potential Championship promotion rival.

Villa’s start to the 2016-17 Championship campaign has also been disappointing.
The Villans lost 1-0 Wednesday away from home at the Hillsborough Stadium in the league last weekend.
Then on Wednesday evening, Villa went down 3-1 to Luton Town away from home in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Xia has dismissed suggestions that recent results and the Bennett situation have created a problem between him and Di Matteo.
