The 32-year-old has been linked with Aston Villa recently.

Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has intimated on Twitter that there is no chance of the Villans’ prospective deal for Mile Jedinak being hijacked because he is already “delighted to be with” the club.
The 32-year-old Crystal Palace midfielder has been linked with a move to Aston Villa as of late and Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo admitted his fondness for the Australia international to the Birmingham Mail this past weekend.

Newcastle United have also been linked but when an Aston Villa supporter put it to Xia on Twitter that he was worried the Magpies could swoop in ahead of the West Midlands club, the club’s Chinese owner seemed confident that scenario would not materialise.

It was reported by The Mirror on Sunday that Jedinak’s move to Aston Villa was all but complete and he would finalise the switch some time this week.
If true, it gives Di Matteo a wonderful and experienced midfielder who can play a big role in helping them win immediate promotion back to the Premier League.
Those aspirations seem more optimistic now after Villa – who lost their first two games of the season; one in the Championship and one in the League Cup – thumped Rotherham United 3-0 on Saturday to open their account.
