Stoke City star Xherdan Shaqiri has announced through social media website Twitter that he has returned to full fitness.

Stoke City have made a terrible start to their Premier League campaign so far and the embarrassing 4-1 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last week means that the Eagles are currently languishing at the bottom of the standings.
Having conceded a whopping 14 goals in just five matches, it is clear to see that Stoke need to tighten things at the back in order to stand a chance of making their way up the table in the coming weeks.

At the other end of the spectrum, Stoke have managed to score only three goals so far and the Potters also need to find the back of the net on a more consistent basis for their fortunes to turn around soon.
The next few weeks will surely prove to be crucial for manager Mark Hughes, and as a huge boost it has been revealed that star man Xherdan Shaqiri has returned to full fitness once again.

Shaqiri featured in Stoke’s Premier League opener against Middlesbrough last month and he even managed to get himself on the scoresheet on the day, but a calf injury has meant that the Swiss international has since missed the last five matches for the Potters.
Stoke have certainly missed the presence of Shaqiri in their squad and much to the delight of the club faithful, the 24-year-old has gone on to state that he is now set for a return to the pitch.
Shaqiri posted on Twitter,
Stoke fans were understandably happy at the announcement and responded to the attacker with positive messages.
