Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London that he is worried about Granit Xhaka following the injury he suffered against Tottenham Hotspur today.
What’s the story?
The Gunners have got the better of Tottenham 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
Arsenal were 3-0 up in the first half of the North London derby.
It was a pretty comfortable win for Arteta’s side in the end.
However, midfielder Xhaka got injured.
The Switzerland international midfielder had to be taken off in the 82nd minute.

Mikel Arteta’s update
Arsenal boss Arteta said about Xhaka’s injury, as quoted in Football.London: “I’m pretty worried because it doesn’t look very positive at the moment.”
Worrying for Arsenal fans
Xhaka played well for Arsenal in the North London derby and showed what he is capable of.
The 28-year-old imposed himself in the middle of the park against Tottenham and pushed Nuno’s team back.
The Switzerland international is an important player for Arteta, who will hope that he recovers soon from his injury.
Arsenal have bounced back their early-season stumbles and are playing well at the moment.
If Xhaka is on the sidelines for a long period of time, then it will affect the Gunners.
