Celtic are playing in the Champions League this season.
Barcelona legend Xavi has told The Scottish Sun that Celtic can become regulars in the Champions League.
Celtic are playing in the group stage of Europe’s premier club competition this season after a two-year absence.
Brendan Rodgers’s side are unlikely to qualify for the last-16 stage, but the Bhoys can drop to the Europa League.
Former Barcelona and Spain international midfielder Xavi, now on the books of Al Sadd, believes that Celtic can establish themselves in the Champions League.
However, according to the 36-year-old, the Hoops have to make sure that they do not lose key players to other clubs.

“Celtic is a team I have affection for — I was vocal about them belonging in the Champions League — and now they are back, they have to make sure they are there every season,” Xavi told The Scottish Sun.
“The most important thing they can do to achieve that is keep their best players. Before you even think of adding players you have to concentrate on keeping the best ones you have.
“Quality players will not want to join a club where they see the best players are sold every summer.”

Celtic are a massive club and have a huge fanbase, but over the years they have lost some of their best players.
The likes of Virgil van Dijk, Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster have left the Bhoys for clubs in England in recent years.
For the Hoops to establish themselves as Champions League regulars, they need to make sure that they do not lose key players.
If Celtic do have to sell their best players every summer, then they have to plan ahead and get replacements ready.
