Celtic are currently in third place in their Champions League group.

Former Barcelona star Xavi has told the Scottish Sun that he believes Celtic have a chance of making it through in their Champions League group.
Celtic have been drawn against Manchester City, Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach in Europe’s top competition.
The Bhoys started their campaign off by losing 7-0 to Barca, but they bounced back from that defeat with a 3-3 draw against City.

And Xavi has not ruled out Celtic springing an upset, and making it through to the knock out stages.
“Celtic can definitely compete but there is no doubt they are in the most difficult group with Manchester City and Barcelona,” the Spanish legend said. “It’s so hard. But you can see from the 3-3 draw with Manchester City that Celtic have a chance.
“My first thought would be that Barca and Manchester City will qualify, but there is no reason why Celtic — and Borussia Monchengladbach — can’t cause a surprise. It’s possible.”

Celtic are currently in third place in their Champions League group, following their impressive draw with City.
The Bhoys’ next match in Europe comes against Mochengladbach, which could be key to their qualification hopes.
If Celtic can beat the Bundesliga side, they will be a strong position to at least finish in third place in their group.
If Celtic can stay in Europe until 2017, it will show a big improvement on their fortunes from last season – when they failed to win a match in the Europa League.
