West Ham United gem Xande Silva has revealed on Twitter that he’s ‘coming back soon’.

The Portugal Under-20 star hasn’t played for West Ham since the 2-0 win over Birmingham City in the FA Cup on January 5.

Silva, a right-sided winger, was an unused sub in the Premier League defeat at Bournemouth two weeks later, but hasn’t been seen since.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Hammers last August, has been injured, but Silva has excited fans by revealing that he’s on the comeback trail.

Silva looks a top talent and it’ll be interesting to see if he can enjoy a strong finish to his debut season in East London, setting him up for a big one next term.

Yes, he has only played in two senior games for West Ham, but there is plenty of potential there and he has already generated a buzz among fans of the Londoners.

West Ham beat Fulham 3-1 on Friday to move ninth in the Premier League table.
