Wyndham Clark has revealed who he believes is the most underrated player on the PGA Tour right now, insisting that he is one of the best drivers of the golf ball he has ever seen.
The PGA Tour boasts an incredible amount of depth right now. It would surprise many had they been told before the season that Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy had only won once each heading into the final event before the US Open.
There is such an exciting crop of younger players coming through, including the 24-year-old Wyndham Clark believes to be a superstar of the future.
Wyndham Clark names the most underrated PGA Tour player
Clark has tended to be one of the longer hitters on the PGA Tour in recent years, though he has not been at his best off the tee for the majority of 2026.
So it says something that he believes that Michael Brennan can do things with the driver in his hand that he is simply not capable of.

The CJ CUP Byron Nelson champion was asked by Dan Rapaport on Dan on Golf who he would pick out as the player sneaking under the radar who has managed to put so many of his peers on notice.
“I would have said, like, a year ago, I would have said [Chris] Gotterup. But now he’s obviously there. I think that Michael Brennan, holy smokes. And [hits it] so nice,” he said.
“He might have the best driver ball flight I’ve ever seen. It’s just like so flat and so good. I mean, I watch it and go, oh my God, I wish I could do that.”
Clark also names the funniest players on the PGA Tour
Brennan has had an incredible 12 months, winning three times in a matter of weeks on PGA Tour Americas last summer.
He was subsequently invited into the field for the Bank of Utah Championship. He went on to produce a stunning performance at Black Desert Resort to secure his first PGA Tour victory.
It is likely to be the first of many.
Elsewhere, Clark was asked to name the funniest player on the PGA Tour. And he picked out both Si-woo Kim and Xander Schauffele.
“Si-woo for multiple reasons. Yeah, it’s not like he’s even trying sometimes. And that’s what’s so great is everyone’s like, that’s just Si-woo,” he said. “Xander’s sneaky really funny. People don’t really see it, contrary to me, he’s very by the book on interviews. But behind scenes, he is not PC and he’s hilarious.”
In fairness, Schauffele does show that side of him in interviews from time to time. Meanwhile, it will surprise no one to see Kim mentioned by Clark.
