West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to hit back at Arsenal fans after they made a big deal of Granit Xhaka playing 12 games in a row.

Some Gunners supporters on Twitter highlighted the fact that their No.34 has now played 90 minutes in 12 successive matches.

In truth, it isn’t that impressive for a professional athlete to do that, and the West Ham fans made a mockery of that by throwing their own Declan Rice statistic into the ring.

As documented by Claret and Hugh, Rice has played a remarkable 65 Premier League games in a row without even a shred of a break.

The 22-year-old has played an incredible 5,850 minutes of top-flight football without missing a second.

That is quite simply amazing, and just goes to show what an athlete the England international is.

It also completely dwarfs Xhaka’s 12 successive 90-minute shifts.

As aforesaid, Rice is a brilliant athlete, and is clearly a dedicated professional who takes good care of his body.

Let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about his incredible run…
