
Some Tottenham fans on social media have been impressed by Jose Mourinho’s post-match comment about attacking the second-leg against Dinamo Zagreb.
It’s no secret that the Spurs boss has a reputation for playing defensive football and parking the bus at times, but it seems as though he’s thrown that out of the window for this Europa League tie.
Indeed, the club tweeted an interview with Mourinho after the first leg, and he’s made it abundantly clear what his plan is for the reverse fixture, claiming that Spurs will attack the Croatians.
“We can’t go to Zagreb and try to defend the advantage – we have to go there and try to win,” Mourinho said.
As you can imagine, Spurs fans had a lot to say about this.
Understandably, Tottenham supporters were happy to see Mourinho speak in this way. After all, which fan doesn’t want to see their team playing attacking football and scoring goals?
Fingers crossed there’ll be plenty of goals scored in the second leg.
