Tammy Abraham labelled Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham an ‘incredible player’ after he scored the winning goal during Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The 19-year-old has turned into a goalscoring machine this season, netting his ninth in all competitions, including four from five Champions League games.

Nonetheless, following that weekend win, Bellingham posted on Instagram ‘not pretty but a massive three points’. His England teammate, Tammy Abraham, reacted in the comments section by saying ‘incredible player’ and Manchester City’s Jack Grealish added ‘wow’.

LIVERPOOL WILL KICK THEMSELVES IF BELLINGHAM GOES ELSEWHERE

It has been well-documented how much Liverpool admire Bellingham, even much so, there are some suggestions that they would want him more than PSG’s Kylian Mbappe.

It has to be questioned, if they like the player so much, then why haven’t they pushed the boat out to sign him?

In his teenage years, even if he takes time to settle in at Liverpool, you have years to develop one of the most promising midfielders in Europe today.

But, as the games tick on for the Reds in the Premier League, the more fans will now worry that the dream signing of Bellingham might just not happen.

Forget about signing the elite players or pushing for the Premier League title. Jurgen Klopp will be fearing that his team might miss out on Champions League football.

The more you watch Liverpool play, the more obvious it becomes that they are crying out for a player of Bellingham’s ilk.

And if he does end up elsewhere, then those sitting in the boardroom will have a lot to answer for because, given what Klopp has achieved, it doesn’t seem the ambition of the club has matched it.
