Rangers midfielder Steven Davis had a big night against Porto.

Rangers midfielder Steven Davis played a starring role in the club’s victory over Porto.
The veteran midfielder scored in Rangers’ 2-0 victory at Ibrox to take the club a step nearer to qualification from the Europa League group stages.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard was left in awe of Davis’ display.
He spoke to Rangers’ official website after the game.
Gerrard said: “He is just a fantastic person. He is a top professional who goes about his work really well, and I have nothing but admiration for him.
“I think when he first came he was short of football and short of sharpness and it took him a little while to get going.
“When he did get going, wow, he is some footballer to watch. Clever, always in the right position, a lovely little footballer and he just knows the game.”
The big nights do not worry Davis, who has experience starring for Northern Ireland on the big stage.
This was what Rangers hoped for when they signed him and he is now proving the move to be smart acquisition.
There might be a few more games like this one ahead for Davis and Rangers.
