Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the club’s ‘nightmarish’ tweet involving Arsenal ahead of the north London derby.
Spurs posted a 32-second clip of Heung-min Son’s terrific strike in the reverse fixture back in December, using a comic book effect on the footage.
Tottenham decided to include the faces of Son and Harry Kane, but the ‘nightmarish’ aspect can be found in how they portrayed the Arsenal players.
Instead of adding in the faces of the Arsenal players, Spurs decided to just replace their heads with cannons – of course, referring to the club being known as the Gunners.
While it was a nice idea, the end product is actually quite frightening.

It’s also not 100% clear at first glance that they’re meant to be cannons.
Hilariously, it looks like Son has just ran past a bunch of elephants before curling the ball past another elephant standing in between the sticks.
One fan added that Tottenham’s editing makes the Arsenal players look like spanners.

Don’t get us wrong. It’s a great video with a cool effect, but we can’t hide the fact that the cannon-face aspect makes us laugh!
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about the tweet…
