100 Premier League goals is something very few players will achieve, yet Liverpool star Sadio Mane has this weekend become the latest member of the prestigious club.
The Senegal international opened the scoring at Vicarage Road as Liverpool demolished Watford in a 5-0 rout. And in doing so, Mane bagged his 100th Premier League goal.
The attacker joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016. And since then, Mane has gone from strength to strength as one of Jurgen Klopp’s most important players.
Mane won the Golden Boot in the 2018/19 season and scored in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final. In total, the 29-year-old has scored 103 goals for Liverpool.
And now, Mane is part of the illustrious 100 club. Moreover, the attacker reached the incredible milestone without scoring a single penalty, a feat only two other players have achieved in the Premier League era.
With Salah joining the 100 club earlier this season, Mane is alongside some incredible company. The duo have both been electric this campaign, and Liverpool could consider themselves one of the favourites for the title.
