Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on Arsenal right-back Jordi Osei-Tutu.
According to the Nottingham Post, the 22-year-old defender will join the Championship side on loan for the season. Osei-Tutu spent last campaign with fellow EFL side Cardiff City.
Despite being a player who is highly rated at Arsenal, injuries have plagued Osei-Tutu since making the leap into first-team football.
The defender made just eight appearances last campaign for Cardiff as a hamstring injury all but ruined Osei-Tutu’s season for the Welsh side.
Indeed, this won’t be the first right-back Forest sign from Arsenal in recent years. The Midlands side signed Carl Jenkinson in 2020 after the defender and Gunners cult hero was sold.
Whilst Jenkinson has failed to make any impression at Forest, Osei-Tutu could be a different story for Chris Hughton’s side. The defender impressed whilst with VfL Bochum two years ago on loan.

And on social media, some Forest fans are excited about the prospect of Osei-Tutu joining the club this summer on loan to cover at right-back.
Here’s what some Forest supporters had to say about the club closing in on the loan signing of Osei-Tutu on Twitter…
