Brighton and Hove Albion have confirmed that Adam Webster has signed a new long-term deal with the club.
The south coast side announced on their official website that the 26-year-old centre-back had penned a new five-year contract with Brighton.
Webster joined Graham Potter’s side in 2019 from Bristol City, and since the move the former Championship star has flourished into a reliable general and presence at the back for Brighton.
The Portsmouth academy graduate has made 64 appearances in total since his move to the Premier League. Moreover, Potter is happy with Webster’s development over the past two seasons.
The Brighton manager said on the club’s website: “Adam has been a really important figure for us on and off the pitch. I am delighted to see him commit to the project we have here.
“Adam was one of the first players to sign after my coaching staff and I joined the club two years ago. And I am delighted with his development in that time.”

Indeed, with Ben White moving to Arsenal this window, retaining Website to a long-term contract is a smart move for Brighton, and on social media, fans were buzzing about the news.
After all, the centre-back has become a fan favourite at the Amex, and supporters are confident that Webster can get even better over the coming years.
