The former Liverpool striker was impressed by the way Salah took his goal in the 68th minute of the Premier League game against West Ham at the London Stadium.
Following a quick counter-attacking move, Xherdan Shaqiri looped a brilliant ball onto the path of Salah, who then controlled it superbly and finished off cooly.
Owen has raved about the Egypt international forward on Twitter, as the Reds won the match 3-1.
World-class footballer
Salah is one of the best players on the planet and is a world-class footballer, as the former Chelsea man showed against West Ham.

The 28-year-old has become a goal machine and is a lethal threat in front of the opposition’s goal.
According to WhoScored, Salah has scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 20 Premier League matches for Liverpool so far this season.
For Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season, Salah will have to continue to bang in the goals for fun.
