Arsenal academy product Emile Smith-Rowe is currently on-loan at Championship side Huddersfield Town.
Huddersfield Town fans on Twitter have been left in awe at Emile Smith-Rowe’s performance after the Arsenal man bagged his first goal for the club yesterday.
Despite the Arsenal loanee getting on the scoresheet, it was a disappointing day for the youngster because his side suffered a 3-2 defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
By the time the Arsenal academy product had opened his account, Huddersfield were already 3-0 down, and despite the Yorkshire club pulling the game back to 3-2, they still went on to lose the game.
However, the Huddersfield fans were left impressed with what Smith-Rowe produced on the day and they think they have a top-quality on their hands.
Smith-Rowe is going to benefit in a huge manner by going out and playing in England’s second-tier because there have been a lot of successful players who have come out of that division.
Harry Kane, Tammy Abraham, James Maddison, Jack Grealish, Harry Maguire and Wilfried Zaha are just some of the players who have made a name for themselves in the Championship and are now thriving in the promised land.
Smith-Rowe will be hoping to add his name to that list and with Mike Arteta in charge, where he is providing a lot of chances to the youngsters, it does seem as though Smith-Rowe will be provided with the opportunity to prove himself next season.
