Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Glenn Hoddle shared his views on whether Jose Mourinho should be sacked or not.
The former England manager was discussing the topic on his Footy Show podcast, where he defended the ex-Chelsea boss amid a difficult run.
Hoddle said: “How can you sack someone who has got you to a cup final? It’s ridiculous. He has earned the right, with what he has done in his career, to be given more time.”
You can’t argue with the ex-Tottenham man’s claim here, although you can definitely see why some supporters are losing their patience.
The north Londoners have won just two of their last eight games in all competitions, and have lost the other six with no draws in sight.
One of those victories came against relegation threatened West Brom, while the other came against Wolfsberger in the Europa League.

Tottenham have also slipped down to ninth, having been talked about as potential title winners in the early stages of the campaign.
While this reflects terribly on Mourinho, we do agree with Hoddle.
This obsession with sacking managers is a real plague on modern day football.
They need time to settle, find their best team and weed out the underperforming players.

What if Manchester United had sacked Sir Alex Ferguson after his early struggles at Old Trafford?
Mourinho does deserve more time, as Hoddle says, but given the pressure on his shoulders, the Portuguese coach needs to amend this slump as soon as possible.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about Hoddle’s comments…
