Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Julian Nagelsmann posted a tweet following the 3-0 Europa League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.

The tweet in questions shows Nagelsmann working on his tactics ahead of RB Leipzig’s game against Bielefeld, which they won 1-0 yesterday.

Given the misery caused by Jose Mourinho, a number of Tottenham fans flocked to Nagelsmann’s tweet, begging him to come to north London.

According to the Telegraph, the German is Daniel Levy’s first choice to replace the Portuguese coach if he does hand him his P45.

That comes as absolutely no surprise to us, as the 33-year-old is one of the brightest young managerial minds around.

He guided RB Leipzig to the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, while also helping them finish third in the Bundesliga.

Transfermarkt shows that he prefers to adopt a 3-4-2-1 formation.

This would suit Tottenham well, as Sergio Reguilon and Serge Aurier are both attack-minded full-backs.

It would be a real coup for Spurs to land Nagelsmann, as he’s been linked with both Bayern Munich and Barcelona lately, as reported by Goal.

Both of those clubs currently have managers, so Levy must act quickly while competition for the German is slim.

Let’s see what the Tottenham fans said in response to Nagelsmann’s tweet…
