John Terry was left gobsmacked on Instagram after Mo Salah scored a spectacular goal during Liverpool’s 3-1 win against West Ham on Sunday evening.
The Aston Villa coach posted on his Instagram story ‘Pass, touch, finish, wow @MoSalah’, as he was making reference to the Liverpool attacker’s second goal at the London Stadium.
On any given day, Salah’s opening strike was a goal of high-quality and precision, as he managed to curl his effort into the top corner despite having very little space inside the penalty area.
But it was the Egyptian’s second that was the goal of the night and one of the goals of the season.
Following a corner for West Ham, the away team counter-attacked with speed, as Xherdan Shaqiri’s ball over the top found Salah inside the penalty area and he brought the ball down first time like he was picking up something from his shelf before his second touch sealed all the points.
It was Salah at his devastating best, and after question marks over Liverpool’s attack in recent weeks, they are well and truly back now and ready to charge down at Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Liverpool are seemingly coming out of a goal drought yet they are still the top goalscorers in the Premier League.
Added with that, Salah has seemingly been goal-shy in front of goal and has not been looking like himself, yet he is the top marksman so far this season with 15 goals.
All in all, the Liverpool engine is firing again, and whether a centre-back arrives on deadline day or not, one thing that cannot be stopped is that front three.
