Sam Rodon – brother of Joe Rodon – has taken to Twitter to react after watching Hugo Lloris do something incredible in Tottenham’s 2-1 win.

In just the second minute, Ryan Mason’s managerial career nearly got off to the worst possible start as Mohammed Salisu headed towards goal from close range.

Impressively, Lloris managed to save the Ghanaian’s effort.

However, the Frenchman pushed the ball out to Che Adams, who looked destined to score from just a few yards out.

Somehow, Lloris managed to switch back on in time to divert his effort around the post, in what was a quite unbelievable double save.

After seeing the two stops, Rodon tweeted the following.

Sadly for Sam, he will not be able to watch his brother play at Wembley this Sunday.

Having played in the Carabao Cup for Swansea this season, the Welshman is cup tied and will have to sit this one out, unfortunately.

As a result, Mason deployed Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier together last night.

Presumably, this was so they can familiarise themselves with each other ahead of starting against Manchester City.

It’s a shame for Rodon, but we’re sure he’ll be cheering his teammates on from the sidelines as Spurs look to win their first trophy since 2008.
