Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting to Josh Kroenke’s comments on the club’s involvement in the European Super League.

Kroenke was hosting a fan forum, and as you can imagine, he was bombarded with questions about the Super League.

He explained why Arsenal were involved in the proposal, before admitting that they’d gotten it wrong.

“We asked ourselves, what is worse: ESL, or ESL without Arsenal?” Kroenke said.

“Also asked ourselves what do the fans want? The global fan wants Arsenal vs Barca as often as possible.

“English fans want to see more big matches, but you still want your cold nights in Stoke. We got it wrong.”

As you can imagine, these comments got Arsenal fans talking, and it’s clear to see that they aren’t best pleased with him.

Kroenke admitted that he’d gotten it wrong, but it’s clear that he’s still missing the point of what this is all about.

It’s not about having a cold night in Stoke, it’s about the integrity of the sport and what it means to be in a fair competition, but Kroenke doesn’t seem to realise this.

It’s fair to say Gunners fans aren’t best pleased with him, and here’s what they’ve been saying on social media…
