Laura Woods has stated that she would ‘love’ Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford at Arsenal, as she told talkSPORT.
The popular presenter and Arsenal fan added that the out-of-form 24-year-old is a ‘great player’ and it would be a ‘great move’ for the forward.
Rashford’s form at Old Trafford has gone well and truly down the drain this season and he is looking like the shadow of the player that made his debut against the Gunners a number of years ago.
From being a fresh-faced teenager to a regular with England, Rashford can’t get into Manchester United’s struggling XI anymore and he has also lost his place with the Three Lions.
Would a move to Mikel Arteta’s ever-progressing and young Arsenal squad change his fortunes around? Well, Woods certainly wants him at the Emirates.
“You may have seen these reports of Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford being linked to Arsenal,” said Woods.
“So, it is believed that the Gunners could be plotting a summer swoop for the 24-year-old at Old Trafford.
“I would love him. I saw a bit of criticism for this, I don’t know where that comes from. I think he’s a great player and is just having a bad season, which happens. Form can come and go.
“But wow, if Arsenal got him then I think it would be a great move.”

Nevermind Arsenal, it seems as though Rashford could be plotting a route out of Man United, as he tries to pick up his stalling career.
The Gunners are one of the teams that have seemingly put themselves forward to possibly sign him, which would be an interesting move if it came off, as reported by 90min.
Arteta has proven that he can work with young talent, but that’s a bracket Rashford can’t put himself in now because he is an experienced player.
Either way, the next Manchester United boss, if it is Erik ten Hag, might just have a big say on whether Rashford stays put or not.
If the Dutchman takes a liking to the versatile forward, like Louis van Gaal did when he handed him his debut, then it might change the course of his career, for the good.
