David Ornstein of the Athletic reports that Arsenal are already open to loaning Runarsson out, after what has been a disastrous start at the Emirates Stadium for the goalkeeper.
The Icelandic international has looked shaky in almost every one of his rare appearances so far, and his performance against Manchester City was nothing short of a disaster.
The latest update already suggests that his time at Arsenal could be coming to an end.
And Arsenal fans couldn’t help but laugh at just how poor a signing Runarsson is now looking.
Runarsson was immediately under pressure at Arsenal, as Emi Martinez had done such a sterling job as understudy last season.
The 25-year-old’s confidence must be low now though, as he has looked way short of the required quality so far.
If Runarsson is to turn his time at Arsenal around his next loan spell will have to be a major success, as he already appears to have lost the confidence of the Emirates Stadium crowd.
