Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting to Newcastle fans chanting ‘Joe Willock, we want you to stay,’ at their loanee.
Willock has been absolutely fantastic since joining Newcastle, netting seven goals in 13 appearances, playing a massive role in steering the Magpies clear of the relegation zone.
As you can imagine, Newcastle supporters are desperate to see that Arsenal man signed on a permanent deal, but Arsenal fans had something to say about that.
Indeed, the Toon Army were chanting at Willock last night telling him that they want him to stay, but Gunners fans have other ideas.
Fans stated that Willock would cost them a hefty fee after his impressive performances, while others said that there’s no chance he’ll be staying at St James’ Park.
One fan said that although he wants Willock to stay at Arsenal, it’s great to see the Newcastle fans serenading him, and after 14 months of fans not being in stadiums, we have to agree with that view.
