West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club posted footage of Mark Noble before yesterday’s 1-0 win in the Carabao Cup.
What’s the story?
Well, the video showed Noble talking about an interaction he had with a supporter at Shenfield train station after his penalty miss on Sunday.
The 34-year-old revealed that the fan in question was shaking while talking to him, and informed him about how grateful he was for his loyalty over the years.
Noble admits the exchange of words cheered him up, before offering the man and his family tickets for a game at the London Stadium in the video.
That’s if he can be located, however, as Noble issues a call to action to help find the supporter because he didn’t take his details!
Nevertheless, it sounds like it was a truly touching moment between a fan and a club legend – the supporters below seem to love this story.
West Ham must keep Mark Noble around

West Ham’s No.16 has already said this will be his final season as a footballer, although that can’t be the end of his time at the club.
The Hammers must ensure that Noble is kept around, either in some sort of ambassadorial role, among the coaching staff, or in another capacity.
They don’t make them like Noble anymore, and his connection to West Ham should not end when his playing career does.

It’s important to embrace these players when they do come around.
If Noble were to receive the James Collins treatment, in which he was waved goodbye via email and never got a testimonial, there should be riots.
For now, let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about the footage of Noble…
