Gary Lineker and Declan Rice took to Twitter last night after witnessing what happened in the 38th minute of West Ham’s clash with Wolves.
With just minutes to go before half-time, Jesse Lingard embarked on another brave run, drawing five Wolves players towards him.
West Ham’s No.11 then slipped a fine through ball into Jarrod Bowen’s path, who smashed a great effort beyond Rui Patrício to make it 3-0.
After watching West Ham’s third goal, Gary Lineker tweeted the following.
The BBC Match of the Day host was clearly impressed by Lingard’s involvement in the goal, and rightly so – it’s great to see a forward full of confidence and taking players on.
After Bowen rippled the Molineux net, Rice also took to Twitter to share his thoughts.
It really was special play from the Hammers.
For Lingard to take five Wolves players out of the game single-handedly was impressive enough.

However, Bowen’s finish deserves huge praise too, as it was by no means easy.
The £22 million forward had to beat Patrício at his near post, and also had to rush his effort with Rayan Aït-Nouri closing him down.

West Ham now sit fourth in the Premier League with eight games to go.
Having been tipped for relegation at the start of the season, it would be an absolutely incredible achievement if David Moyes secured a Champions League spot.
As things stand, it’s in West Ham’s hands.
