Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Robin Koch posted a tweet last night, showing himself working out in the gym as he nears his return.

The Germany international has been missing since the 3-1 defeat to Chelsea on December 5th, having required knee surgery.

Koch had been playing through the pain since making his debut against Liverpool on the opening day of the campaign.

However, the issue flared up at Stamford Bridge, and he needed to go under the knife.

The BBC stated in December that Koch would be missing for three months, so it’s almost time for the 24-year-old to make his highly anticipated return.

The tweet in question shows the Leeds No.5 stretching on an exercise mat and working his knee, while his caption wished the team luck before their clash with Wolves.

Sadly, Marcelo Bielsa’s men succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against the Midlands-based outfit.

Nevertheless, once Koch has returned, it should give everyone around the club a big boost, as he was brilliant before injury sidelined him.
