Crystal Palace fans cannot believe that Celtic have agreed to a 40 per cent sell on clause as part of a deal to bring Odsonne Edouard to Parkhead.
The Daily Mail claim that Celtic are demanding £40 million for Edouard, as they will have to pay so much of the potential fee for him back to PSG.
The striker has interested Palace, but at that price, the Eagles may struggle to agree a fee.
And Palace supporters can’t believe that Celtic apparently agreed to such a deal to take the Frenchman from PSG.
If Celtic did put in a 40 per cent sell on clause into the deal then that seems like a bad error of judgement now.
Edouard is unquestionably Celtic’s most valuable player, but the Bhoys are unlikely to receive his true worth, if they have to pay so much of that fee back to PSG.
Celtic will be desperate to keep hold of Edouard, as he is their main goalscorer, but whether they will be able to do so remains to be seen.
The Mail claim that Aston Villa, Leicester City and Everton are all also keen, with interest new hotting up in the front man.
