Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after noticing something ‘impressive’ about Gabriel Martinelli’s interview with Sky Sports.
What was it? Well, the Brazilian seems to have finally mastered the language!
The 19-year-old has spoken in his native tongue for most of his interviews since arriving in the Premier League, or using basic English at least.
Now, however, Arsenal’s No.35 seems to have spent his time on the sidelines perfecting the English language, as he impressed while speaking to Sky Sports.
It’s been a tough time for the teenager, who saw his incredible debut season at the Emirates Stadium halted by a serious knee injury.
It is testament to the wonderkid’s character that he spent his time on the sidelines bettering himself, in more ways than just learning the language.
When Martinelli finally returned to training, Arsenal fans were surprised to see how much stronger and broader the South American had become.
He’s clearly been pumping iron in the gym, as well as perfecting his English.
This is very impressive for a 19-year-old.
It shows he cares about being able to communicate with his teammates and adapt to his surroundings.
