Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after WhoScored tweeted a statistic about Thomas Partey.
The popular stats site revealed that the Ghana international had committed the most errors leading to an opposition shot since the start of last season.
Partey committed seven errors, according to WhoScored. However, none of these resulted in a goal for the opponent.
In that respect, this is a very strange, and unusual, statistic.
It effectively means that the £45 million man could’ve lost the ball on the halfway line, and an opponent took a wild, long-range attempt from 40 yards.
WhoScored have been fairly misleading here, in that sense.

The Arsenal fans on Twitter certainly aren’t happy with the statistic.
Some feel that WhoScored are attempting to defame Partey through the use of their wordy, rare statistic.
Others think it’s just an attempt to gain interaction from the Emirates Stadium faithful on Twitter.
If it was, then it’s well and truly done the trick.

The 27-year-old has had a tough start to life in England, with the Gunners far from their best form while he’s also endured a few injury issues.
In light of that, he presumably won’t appreciate this statistic.
Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about WhoScored’s tweet…
